Now Accepting Pocket Gallery applications for the 2029 Season and beyond from Artist Level Members of the South Haven Center for the Arts.

Pocket Gallery Information & Application: The Pocket Gallery is available for solo exhibitions. The Pocket Gallery is located in the first floor area of the grand staircase and in the adjoining annex gallery.

The pocket gallery hosts six one month artist member exhibitions annually from May through October.

Eligibility: Any Current member at the artist level of South Haven Center for the Arts is eligible. If you wish to submit a group application - all exhibiting artists must be members. All artwork must be of the artist's own design and creation. Exhibits are limited to 2D pieces. The Center for the Arts reserves the right to decline to display art for any reason.

Gallery space: The Pocket Gallery is a 75 square feet area with 15 linear feet of wall space. In addition, the Annex is 120 square feet with 21 linear feet. We encourage you to visit the gallery to visualize your artwork hanging in the space available.

Sales: Artwork exhibited is not required to be for sale. If it is for sale, the artist must determine the price. South Haven Center for the Arts retains 35% commission on all works sold. Artwork must remain for the duration of the exhibition.

Artist Responsibility: Artists must work together with Pocket Gallery coordinators to schedule work drop-off and installation. Art should be framed and ready to hang. Promotional materials, such as brochures, postcards or business cards are the responsibility of the artists. Artists must provide all information for art labels and and wall signage including an exhibition statement. Artists are also responsible for submitting in a timely manner the information needed for publicity. South Haven Center for the Arts will publicize exhibits on their website and to their email list.

Pocket Gallery opening reception's will happen on the first Thursday of the month from 4-6pm featuring the artist for the month. Refreshments and non-alcoholic beverages may be offered, provided by the artist.
