Needle felting is the process of tangling wool fibers together using a barbed needle. The needle is poked into and out of un-spun wool, locking the fibers together and causing the wool to felt. In this workshop, participants will learn basic needle felting techniques while making a bird ornament.

Needle Felting Workshop November 29, 6-8pm
Needle felting is the process of tangling wool fibers together using a barbed needle. The needle is poked into and out of unspun wool, locking the fibers together and causing the wool to felt. It’s a simple yet versatile technique that offers lots of creative possibilities.
In this workshop, participants will learn basic needle felting techniques while making a bird ornament. All materials including a wide variety of dyed wool colors will be provided.
Instructor Sarah Rydecki, all materials included
Members $35, non-member $40, partial and full-scholarships available.
