About Joan Bonnette
The Butterfly, named Endura, has been a continuing theme in the art of Joan Bonnette. Gateways and Sail-forms are other themes in her watercolors and multimedia art. The artist enters juried exhibitions. She recently won honorable mention in International Society of Experimental Artists Juried Exhibition, an international organization. A longtime Michigan resident, Bonnette has been in regional exhibits and in a two artist exhibit in Texas.
The metal wall art butterfly series symbolizes fragile and battered life surviving through adversity. Found pieces of rusted metal are recycled to have new life. Endura endures.
