Artist Bio:

My name is Emily Pruyn (pronounced Prine). I am a water photographer and woodworker based in Chicago. I am a long-time member of the Bridgeport Art Center.

 

I grew up tumbling in the waves of Lake Michigan - I have always been in love with the water. My photography is dedicated to finding secret moments and phenomena in the water up close. The past few years I mostly have focused on capturing the colors of the water made by the interactions with the sun. The best time to see the most colorful waves around South Haven is in late September or October!
