To highlight South Haven's designation as a Pure Michigan Trail Town, the art center invites artists and community members to paint a bike rack for use downtown!

The South Haven Art Bike Rack project is funded by the South Haven/Van Buren County Visitors Bureau and the South Haven Downtown Development Association.

Art on the Town Requests for Proposal

The Art On the Town Committee of South Haven, Michigan (AOTT) invites sculptural artists from Van Buren, Berrien, Allegan, Kalamazoo, Cass, Kent, and Ottawa counties to submit an application and design proposal for creation of a three-dimensional, locally-themed public art sculpture for display along downtown Phoenix Street in South Haven.

This call is open to emerging and established visual artists, college-age or older, who are legally authorized to work in the United States.

Each sculpture is accompanied by a plaque identifying the piece and artist, and will be available for purchase and donation to the City of South Haven.
