With [re]Purpose – 9th Annual Juried Exhibition

One man’s recyclables can truly be another’s treasure.

 

With [re]Purpose features artwork created by regional artists that repurposes recycled materials into something beautiful and sustainable. With this exhibition the artists and the SHCA hope to create an awareness of the importance of responsible consumption to help protect earth’s global ecological footprint – we all live downstream.

 

Jurors for the exhibition are Lawrence, Michigan artists Jeff and Theresa Heaton. The Heaton’s work is derived from leftover packaged items that become part of our living landscape.

 

The jurors will present first, second and third place awards at the opening reception for With [re]Purpose on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 2pm. The reception is from 1–4pm and is free and open to the public. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served. The exhibition will be on display through November 3, 2018.
