Emerging Artists Guild - Meet and Greet

Attention, Artists and Art Enthusiasts between the ages of 18 and 30: a new group is forming for young adult artists in South Haven and it's surrounding areas, and is looking for members. There is no fee to become a member of the Emerging Artists Guild.

We aim to make a fun creative space where artists and those interested in the arts can socialize, collaborate, develop professional skills and give a sense of community in the South Haven Area. We would love to develop an atmosphere close to that of an art school in a free and accessible way to young members of our community.  

Our first meeting will be a meet and greet, that will have light refreshments and holiday themed craft stations free to use with an assortment of mediums to create with.  

First Meeting Agenda: Friday, December 16, 2022, 2pm - 4pm

• Meet project leads; Sophie Burton, Noelle Ringer, Wolfgang Alas and Kerry Hagy, Executive Director of the South Haven Center for the Arts.
• Sophie Burton; Project Coordinator will introduce you to the Emerging Artist Guild Program.
• Enjoy a holiday themed open studio with crafting stations based on activities from Mistletoe Market our holiday themed market.
• Help us shape the path we take as a Guild! Fill out an anonymous survey to give us an idea of what you as a member would want to see from us as a Guild at future meetings.
• Socialize and enjoy the provided refreshments!
