NEW Artist Market Starting in 2010

 The New Year begins with a new event at the South Haven Center for the Arts: The Artists Market, taking place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Jan. 23.

 

“The market will be similar to a Farmers Market,” says Marie Maguire, Executive Director for the Art Center. “It will be fun because artists and crafters will be joining others in helping to build the arts in our community.” There is no admission fee to shop at the Artists Market. The event will be advertised in St. Joseph, Holland, Saugatuck, Bangor, Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, on the Art Center’s website and on Facebook.

 

All artists and crafters desiring to sell their work in this first Artists Market should register at the Art Center by Jan. 8, 2010. Booth fee is $15 per artist. Limited tables are available and participants should bring tables or stands if they have them.
