South Haven Center for the Arts Winter 2008 Classes

Pop into Spanish Class

Have you been thinking about learning some Spanish for work, travel or everyday conversation?  Try out the Workplace Spanish I class this semester.  Sign up for credit or audit, or pop in and try a few classes to determine if this is just what you need!  The course offers an introduction to the Spanish language with emphasis on applying acquired knowledge in real life.  If you choose to pop into class you may attend as many consecutive classes as you choose, however, for hopefully obvious reasons, if you “pop out” more than 2 consecutive classes you cannot continue to attend this session.  Lake Michigan College offers this class in partnership with the South Haven Center for the Arts. Art of the Story

John Mooy is a storyteller. He is always looking for a good story. Through the years he has told stories in the classroom, the corporate boardroom, and spent one entire year working for the prosecution in crafting the story of the Oklahoma City bombing trial. In a world of high speed, high technology, and a seeming need for immediacy, the well told story remains as one of the best delivery systems for information that we have. Come learn the techniques, enjoy the process and greatly enhance your communication skills. Six-week course. No drop-in classes offered. Register by calling SHCA at 269-637-1041.
